Lately with graduation quickly approaching I haven't had time to commit to blogging of doing anything that's focused on writing. I've missed the last two weeks with blogging but trust me it's been for a good reason. You see now that I'm working, graduating this month and most importantly taking care of my little one and being the best husband possible it's been hard to do everything that's needed to commit to making sure I'm keeping you included in what's going on.
Let me start off by first saying Happy Thanksgiving although I'm pretty late and Merry Christmas early to all my wonderful readers. For Thanksgiving my wife and I decided not to be with any of our extended family for the holidays and decided to stay home to enjoy one another. For some it wasn't good news but for my wife I it was the best decision we'd made in a long time. It was peaceful, less stressful and more convenient staying home then getting on the highway and traveling to a relatives home to be there for only a few hours before having to travel home to prepare for work the next day. It was even better being home knowing that we didn't have to get dressed and could be in our pajamas all day cooking and baking and we cooked in enough time to have dinner early enough and relax the rest of the evening. We did however decided to do a little shopping once the stores opened but with it being so many people out we didn't stay out that long.
I know I'm talking about a lot in this post and that's because it's so much that I want to tell you with little to no time to tell it all. Overall I know over the next few weeks as the month/year comes to an end that I will be sharing with you some of my best highlights thus year. I'll also be sharing with you many of the things I've learned throughout this year. I'll admit it's been a difficult one but it's also been the greatest year that I've ever had my entire life.
I'll admit it there's never really an honest excuse to being to busy to do the things you love the most. Sometimes you just allow life to get ahead of you without controlling it yourself. It's all about priorities and making sure what you love and enjoy to do is included in your everyday life. Like for me I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies, skating, bowling, providing for my family and going to school to further my education. But I also enjoy writing, blogging and freelancing allowing you into my life and sharing things with you about being a stay at home dad a creating the best budget for your family. This is a passion of mine that I must make a priority and after this month entering another year and graduating with my Associates I'm looking forward to blogging becoming more of a priority then a hobby.
