Lately I've been very inconsistent with blogging due to my crazy summer school schedule. Trust me when I say when I'm passionate about something I always do my best to stay on top of it. But because I only have one semester left of school until I receive my associates degree I've been focusing solely on that. To give you a little background when my wife and I got together I was attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College as well as working full time but once we got married I took time off to focus on our marriage and to take care of our house as she was earning her Master’s Degree. I would take classes off and on, sometimes I did well and sometimes I didn’t because my heart wasn't there. Once my wife was in her final semester of graduate school to obtain her Master Degree in Counseling Psychology I decided that it was time for me to go back to school full time. Again sometimes I did well and sometimes I didn't but once we finally got pregnant I realized that I needed to focus and finish. To make a very long story short I am one semester and two classes away from earning my Associates Degree something I didn't think was possible last year and I'm also looking into schools to earn my Bachelor’s degree. I am supper excited about this which has caused me to be inconsistent but I know that it's something that I have really needed to focus on.
With that being said I recently just finished a Spanish class that ended last week and I just received my final grades yesterday which was a B. I was so excited I shouted and Thanked God likes crazy because I was unsure of the turn out of my grade. Although I did every assignment my test scores were sometimes not reflective of what was being taught in class. I'd never taken Spanish in high school but instead Latin my senior year. My original goal was to go to medical school so I felt that it would benefit me better in high school but it didn’t because I can't remember an ounce of what I did learn and I changed my major a few semesters into college.
Needless to say I can really see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm progressing on to look into receiving my Bachelors at a college here in Kalamazoo. I can guarantee that you will see more of me because I have so much to share with you all about my little guy who just turned 8 months old a few days ago. He's getting more teeth, crawling and eating table food.
