These past few months have been a whirlwind for me and my family. It seems like every time I think I may have an opportunity to blog and share how everything has been for us life gets in the way. You may be wondering what I mean by that? You see since becoming full-time since April of this year my time with my family and time dedicated to everything else that I enjoy when I'm not working has taken back seat. I've been working so hard at trying to prove myself to the people who I hope see value in me most that everything else has taken a back seat and when I have an opportunity to spend time with my family that becomes my focus. I'm not apologizing for not blogging and keeping you up to date with everything because I can only do so much but there are times when I feel really bad for not being able to be as dedicated to sharing all the wonderful things that have happened for me and my family the last few months.
Not only has work become a focus outside of spending every opportunity possible with my family but I have also been working very hard at working towards my degree in Organizational Management since April of this year as well the same week I went full-time. I haven't always been the best student and I knew once I completed my Associates degree that when it was time to start my Bachelors my mindset had to drastically change if I wanted to finish successfully. It has been an easy road since it's online with a heavier workload and more hours dedicated every week to writing papers and doing research but it's been a great experience.
One top of everything with work and school my little guy started school which was something that my wife and I were both very hesitant with for a while. It's been two years that he's been home with my wife and I with the help of my sister in law so putting him in school was not an easy decision to make. We knew we needed to do it because he needed something that was more structured and challenging for his mind at 2 years old his vocabulary is really good; he can count to 20 and knows all his ABC's. He's so smart and is a very social little person when he's around other kids and the adjustment for us as a family has been wonderful. He goes twice a week all day and next month we'll be increasing it to three full days. It's a stretch in more way then one but it's an investment that we're willing to take that will have a lasting impact on his development in the future.
All in all, I've missed blogging but I know there's only one of me with a limited amount of time to do and be productive when it comes to blogging and dedicating my time to everything else in my life as well. I do however miss my readers so much and look forward to sharing as much as possible as time goes on especially with all the exciting things that will he happening in 2017 for my family and I.
